Below is detailed information about what you get in the Nintendo DS console box...
Experience incredible gameplay in 3D graphics with no need for glasses! Nintendo 3DS is a Innovative breakthrough in handheld consoles a unique piece of hardware. Enjoy some fantastic games such as Zelda Ocarina of time 3DS, Street Fighter, Pilotwings Resort, Nintendogs + cats. and a number of fantastic games to be released! It really does have to be seen to be believed
The Nintendo 3DS system allows you to play your favourite Nintendo games in a 3D universe. With a stereoscopic 3D display on the upper screen it gives objects within the game world a feeling of space and depth that extends far into the back of the screen. It makes gameplay easier to see the position of characters and obstacles in the game world.
The 3DS boasts many more hardware features including dual camera's on the back of the console which allow 3D Pictures to be taken. Analog control known as the "Circle Pad". touch screen, microphone input, motion sensor and Gyro sensor that can react to motion and tilt of the system adding an extra dimension to 3DS Games. Backwards Compatibility that allows you to play your DS and DSi games just as well. A 3D slider which allows a player to instantly switch between 3D mode and normal mode.
A new way to connect to fellow 3DS players by setting your 3DS to sleep mode whenever you pass another 3DS its possible to exchange Mii characters, high score and data where you control what you want to transfer and receive.
"Nintendo's newest console arrives at a time when its maker faces one of its biggest challenges. Having dominated the portable market for so long with a string of successful handhelds, the firm now finds itself in unsettling competition with the rapidly growing force of smartphone gaming, Apple's iDevices in particular. So it is no surprise to see Nintendo courting those gamers who want something a little more substantial on the move."
"See that greenish blue thing up there? That might look like this greenish blue thing over here that we reviewed a few weeks back, but actually they're not the same. No, sir. This thing up there is the genuine, guaranteed, red-blooded American version, ready to tear a $250 hole in your gaming budget and make you go all googly-eyed for 3D. Naturally there isn't an awful lot different here compared to the Japanese version we already looked at, but we have had the opportunity to spend a good bit more quality time with this one than with the other one. Plus, being able to read all the manuals doesn't hurt."
"The Nintendo 3DS is not just another handheld, it's the first iteration of a brand new game platform and the first gaming device to utilize glasses-free 3D technology. But can the 3DS live up to the hype, overcome the limitations of glasses-free 3D, and produce a compelling new gameplay experience worthy of its $250 MSRP? For anyone who has used a DS in the past, Nintendo's next-generation handheld should look and feel plenty familiar, though obviously with a number of clearly identifiable changes. While Nintendo went for a slim, minimalist design with the DSi that utilized flat surfaces, unified casing, and a solid color, the 3DS is bulkier with more angular edges and a more complex, multi-panel case design.
